The principals of Dry Guy Waterproofing products are long time enthusiasts of camping and outdoor sports who just got too frustrated with the lack of success with waterproof products being sold today.  We have found that the waterproofing products we tested on our tents, clothing and outdoor gear still leaked which was a major concern for mold growth in our tents and backpacks. Just thinking of breathing any airborne mold contaminants around us at night or next to food in our backpacks really got us concerned about health issues for ourselves, family and pets. The waterproof products we tested that did repel water also stopped our tent and equipment from properly breathing. In closer inspection of the ingredients, we found harmful chemicals to both humans and the environment.

We decided to take matters into our own hands and consulted with product and chemical engineers about the camping and outdoor waterproofing issues.  After lengthy research and extensive tests on many fabrics associated with tents, outdoor gear, and fabrics used in all weather conditions.
